Matka is a traditional pot of India made of mud clay. It is still used as a water storage cooler. It is made of a combination of two types of clay one is a little sticky and taken from the surface of the earth and another one is little sandy which is taken by digging approx 10 feet deeper into the earth. It is prepared by mixing water with it and the desired shape is given to it. Then they are baked for a few days to strengthen them.
