Visual Artist Renu Kashyap born in Alwar, Rajasthan, is one of the talented artists and definitely the one who reminds you of the Diwali lights and the festival where we paint the walls beautifully. Her talent is not just confined to the Diwali wall paintings. She has an extremely sober style in the modern form of art. The vibrant choice of colors is very soothing to our gentle mind when it accepts mythological painting styles.
Her influential mythological paintings dominate her style of art, especially her Radha-Krishna paintings, her true devotee Meera-Bai paintings. Her recent works include the three of them in a trio where the main subject has been treated subtly and the trio are depicted intricately.
She is very mature with her approach in her mythological paintings as she has painted all the noses straight, to avoid controversies generated by the different shapes of noses. The peacock feather popularly known as worn by lord Krishna is too prevalent in her acrylic paintings.
If you have ever wished to return to the time when cave paintings were made, you surely should have a look at her beautiful paintings which give a soothing feeling and also reminds us of the decorations done on the walls during the festive season.
She has the talent of never getting her paintings affected by the time factor as her ten-year-old paintings would also have the same impact and charm and warmth in them. The beauty of her artworks is never enhanced cosmetically, rather they are naturally beautiful. An outer addition would just mean adding candles to the cake. Though her paintings never become old, she has only matured by the time as an artist.
When you look at her paintings, her colors seem to trick you as to where it ends and where it starts. So summing up her original mythological paintings, her artworks would give you a festive mood!
